Shabbat Services

Please join us for Shabbat services every Friday evening at 7 PM.  Shabbat Services are also held on the first Saturday of every month at 10 AM, when we honor someone special in our Congregation. Our services are in person and online through Zoom.  At the conclusion of services, enjoy our Oneg Shabbat.

Shabbat Services are led by Rabbi Moshe Halfon and lay leaders.

Mt. Sinai Endowment Fund

The Mt. Sinai Endowment Fund is a permanent fund that supports the Synagogue.  Money donated to the fund is carefully invested, and a portion of the interest is used by the Synagogue.  As the fund grows, it will generate more interest.  The principal is never touched.  Only a portion of the interest comes to the Synagogue.

The Mt. Sinai Endowment Fund has used several options for fundraising, including estate planning, live concerts, and sponsorships of chairs and book holders in our Sanctuaries.  A brochure (below) goes into more detail about the fund and its fundraising activities.  At the bottom of the page are photos of plaques installed on the chairs and book holders in our sanctuaries.  A plaque on a chair in our large sanctuary is $500, a book holder is $250.

You can have a plaque made for someone you wish to honor, including yourself.  Please use our website or contact the Synagogue office if you would like to sponsor plaques.  Remember, this is a permanent donation – the money you give will not be spent.  It will be invested and only a portion of the interest used.
